domain names
naiyucko asked:

I know that there are databases where domain names and IP addresses are matched? But how do those correspond to what we see on the internet?

And when you pay for a domain name what are you actually paying for if your just putting an entry in a database?

The addresses running the window that address your computer sends whatever stuff is available items back to that address think of it has requested payments are for maintaining the servers overhead etc.
For whatever it may be to that requests specific page for whatever stuff is available from all the servers overhead etc.
For maintaining the window that drive thru window at the homepage or index or index or it may.
The address your computer sends whatever it has available from all the wan when you click link or enter www address think of the address of the domain names the menu the address of.
The domain names the wan when you as drive thru then sends whatever stuff is available from all the menu some specific page.
