whats a good website to buy domain names?
July 4th, 2009 | by xkwq3606 |The new guy asked:
If you own a web site where did you buy the web site? And what did you get within the purchase, domain name and website or did you have to pay seperatly for both?

Most hosts offer a free domain name with hosting.
I recommend one of these:
Powweb has the best offer right now. It’s on a 50% sale - $3.88/month ($46.56/year), and you get a free domain from them. (like)
Their hosting plan includes web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

I have always used GoDaddy. They normally charge 9.99 for a .com domain name but if you use this special link, you can get them for 6.99:
I got this link from a domain buyers e-book that I purchased and have been using it ever since when buying my domains. I just checked it out and it is still good for the $2 discount.
With the purchase, you get only the domain name. One cool thing with GoDadday is you can purchase their shared hosting account. It is around $80 a year but you can host as many domain names as you want under that account (no limit). I am currently hosting about 10 domain names and the price is always the same. It saves a lot of money..if you do the individual hosting, you have to pay to host each domain and it costs $4 per month. I have been purchasing domain names and hosting all on GoDaddy for some time. Probably your best, cheapest bet.
